Leary Looks After Liz

Denis Leary - what a guy. Not only is he one of the least affected actors that Empire has had the pleasure of talking with, but he's also willing to share nappy changing duties with his good pal Liz Hurley. Now that's above and beyond the call of duty. Interviewed in this month's Empire magazine, Leary explains that out of the six celebrity godfathers that Hurley's baby Damian enjoys, he's the only one that's put in any hard graft. 'Well, so far, I've got to say, whether it's due to the travelling schedules or whatever, I'm the guy that's been changing the diapers. I don't think Hugh [Grant] has any interest in the diaper situation whatsoever. Elton would be OK, but he hasn't been around.' Leary went on to say, 'I like doing it because I like hanging with the kid. But I think these guys are supposed to chip in a little bit more than they have been.' Asked what he thinks of Liz's former lover Steve Bing who infamously left her and the baby in the lurch, Leary tells Empire; ''You know what? Legally I'm not allowed to say what I think of him, but you can imagine. Easily imagine.'
