Hoping to follow in the illustrious if filthy-minded footsteps* of The Hangover and Knocked U****p is one of next year's big comedies, She's Out Of My League. Jay Baruchel steps up to the lead as the average Joe who lands the "perfect ten" in Alice Eve's Molly - and then doesn't quite know how to react. Check it out here.
Eve, who you may remember from Starter For Ten, gets her first American lead here, with Krysten Ritter reprising her Confessions of A Shopaholic role as The Leading Lady's Best Friend and her actual dad, Trevor Eve, playing her movie dad. Baruchel's bessie mates are played by Cloverfield's Mike Vogel and T.J. Miller and Get Smart's Nate Torrence, with Seth Rogen-alike Kyle Bornheimer as his brother.
She's Out Of My League is out on March 12 in the UK and US, so we'll see at that point whether it lives up to this rather promising trailer.
*Can footsteps have filthy-minds? Anyway, you know what we mean.
