As he rolls the cameras on his next film, book series adaptation The School For Good And Evil, director Paul Feig is announcing additional cast members. Laurence Fishburne and Michelle Yeoh are the latest recruits.
Sophia Anne Caruso and Sofia Wylie are portraying the main characters, Sophia and Agatha, best friends who are whisked off to the titular school, where ordinary kids are trained to be fairy tale heroes and villains. Sophie has princess aspirations and expects to be picked for the School for Good and Agatha seems a natural fit for the villains in the School for Evil. Yet soon the girls find their fortunes reversed, putting their friendship to a test...
Fishburne is playing The Schoolmaster, while Yeoh (who appeared in Feig's Last Christmas is taking the role of Professor Anemone) in the film, joining the likes of Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington.
David Magee and Feig adapted Soman Chainani's tome, which successfully kicked off a six-book series. The movie will land in cinemas next year.
