For his next film, airline drama Sully, Clint Eastwood is turning to someone who has worked with him several times before. Laura Linney is aboard the film, and will star alongside Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckhart.

Sully will chronicle the story of Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, the man hailed as a hero when he safely landed a bird-struck, malfunctioning plane full of passengers on New York’s Hudson River back in 2009, becoming a symbol for old school guts and professionalism in the face of adversity. His moment of fame led to a memoir, called Highest Duty: My Search For What Really Matters, and saw both the book and his life rights bought by producer Frank Marshall, with Sully on board as a producer. Todd Komarnicki wrote the script for the film, while Hanks will be Sully and Eckhart is playing his co-pilot, Jeff Skiles, who helped him land the plane.

Linney is aboard Lorraine Sullenberger, Chesley’s wife, who he credits as a big part of his life, but who keeps him grounded. On talking with President Obama at his inauguration, Lorraine is reported to have told him, “Mr. President, the world may think him a hero, but he still snores.”

The actress, who was last seen in Mr. Holmes, will be back on screens in literary biopic Genius and, though we still can’t believe it ourselves, she has a role in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.
