As Michael Bay continues to wreak his typical Bayhem for Transformers: The Last Knight, another cast member has joined up, with actress Laura Haddock making the announcement via her Twitter feed.

The Last Knight, which Bay is saying really will be his last directorial outing in the Transformers universe, features the return of Mark Wahlberg's Cade Yeager, alongside fellow Transformers movies veteran Josh Duhamel. New faces this time around include Anthony Hopkins, Isabela Moner, Jerrod Carmichael and Allen Phoenix.

We don't yet know who Haddock will be playing in the film, but we'd expect her to be dodging giant robots before the week is out.

Rumours surfaced recently – spoiler alert should any of this turn out to be accurate – that the film will somehow tie in with Arthurian legend and Optimus Prime's mission to bring his home world of Cybertron back to life with an artifact that has links to Merlin, but we'll wait to see whether that particular plot information drifts away into the ether once the official synopsis pops up.

With Megatron back on villain duty (how, after his rebirth as Galvatron last time around has yet to be addressed), Transformers: The Last Knight will rampage across our screens on June 23 next year.
