Wonder Park

Looking to squeeze into the corners not occupied by the better-known Disney or WB animation group releases, Paramount's Wonder Park is fuelled by those old standbys of wacky animals and a story about a child's imagination. Find the new trailer below.

The child in this case is June (Brianna Denski) who created the world of Wonder Land when she was younger. It's a theme park run by a group of animals including Peanut (Norbert Leo Butz), Steve (John Oliver) and Greta (Mila Kunis). But as she's aged, June has put away childish things, and Wonder Land has slowly suffered as the power of her imagination waned.

When she discovers a roller coaster car that transports her to the place, she learns she'll have to help save the place.

Wonder Park poster

Wonder Park is using another well-worn marketing trick, hiring UK voice talent for certain key roles. So welcome YouTube "sensations" Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee as Gus and Cooper and certified acting/voice-over legend Tom Baker as bear Boomer. Expect character posters to be slapped up revealing that "Tom Baker Is Boomer", leading to what we can only hope is a recreation of this viral video by our own Ben Travis.

While the posters and trailer simply say "coming soon", expect the film to arrive on 8 April.
