Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart enjoy sparring with each other in films, and have paired up several times on screen. Now they're bringing that mismatched buddy comedy energy to animation with DC League Of Super-Pets, the new movie featuring superheroes and animals with powers. Check out the latest teaser.
Super-Pets gives us a pooch's-eye-view into the world of Krypto (Johnson), who is Superman's (John Krasinski) faithful hound. But when his owner and other members of the Justice League are kidnapped by the villainous Lex Luthor (Marc Maron), it's up to Superman's best friend to save the day.
He'll need a little help, though, and he'll get it from a rag-tag group of shelter animals, who have all accidentally recently been exposed to something that grants them extraordinary abilities. There's fellow dog Ace (Hart), who is seemingly indestructible, Melton the speedy turtle (Natasha Lyonne), PB the pig (Vanessa Bayer) who can inflate herself to various sizes and Chip the squirrel (Diego Luna), blessed with the power to shoot electricity from his hands... well, paws. Oh, and let's not forget that Keanu Reeves plays Batman in the movie...
DC League Of Super-Pets will be in UK cinemas on 29 July.
