Currently adorning the cover of Empire in newsstand and a beautiful subscriber's edition, Blade Runner 2049 stands as easily one of the year's most anticipated films. The new trailer has arrived, and you can see it below.
Set 30 years after the original, 2049 follows LAPD Blade Runner K (Ryan Gosling) discovering a long-buried secret that launches him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former member of the team who has been missing for the past three decades.
This latest trailer shows off more of the characters, giving Jared Leto's Neander Wallace a lot of doomy dialogue about replicants and the future, while Dave Bautista appears to (spoiler alert!) be a replicant who causes trouble for K when he comes asking questions.
The likes of Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks and Robin Wright all feature in the footage, which manages to tease more and thankfully offers questions without much in the way of answers yet. Blade Runner 2049 is out on 6 October. Find more about it in the new issue of Empire, and if you love the look of the subscriber cover, why not consider a subscription to receive future exclusives{
