Last House On The Left Trailer

If you're on the lookout for goreno sadism then you need look no further than Wes Craven's oft-banned The Last House On The Left. A trailer for Dennis Iliadis' remake of the horror nasty is now online and, surprisingly, it doesn't look half bad.

Sara Paxton plays the imperiled daughter this time round. After the girl is attacked and left for dead by a convict and his gang, her assailants unknowingly seek shelter in her parents' house. Her mum (Monica Potter) and dad (Tony Goldwyn) are understandably a little put out and decide to treat their guests to a little dose of home-made retribution. The trailer has some suitably sadistic touches (head in microwave - ouch) but perhaps the most frightening thing is the hideous cover of Guns 'N' Roses' Sweet Child O' Mine. Shudder.
