If you haven't seen Last House on the Left, we're not going to say too much to you about the roles that Monica Potter and Tony Goldwyn will be playing in the upcoming movie, because it could be considered spoilerific. We're also not going to recommend that you see that early Wes Craven, unless you're extremely strong stomached, because it could be considered really revolting and upsetting.

The usually wholesome pairing will portray parents of a teenage girl who falls into the hands of a depraved group of convicts while en route to a music gig with her friend. Then things get very dark.

We have to assume that Dennis Illiadis' remake won't visit the same screwed up places as the original film, an infamous video nasty, because we can't imagine it going down well with the censors. This is beyond torture porn. Also, we don't think anyone wants to see that cutesy woman from Martha, Meet Frank, Daniel and Lawrence bite off a penis.
