And you thought he would have learned by now. Going back to what he's good at – ie. emotionless, cruel and robotic – in T3: Rise of the Machines has obviously got Arnold Schwarzenegger's ambitions up and running again for he's thinking the unthinkable and setting his sights on comedy once more. After the horror that was Jingle All the Way and, of course, the living hell of Junior - featuring Arnie, if you care to remember, heavily pregnant – all films fans breathed a heavy sigh of relief as the Teutonic tower of muscle headed back to familiar, if slightly dodgy, action territory with the likes of Collateral Damage. But dear readers, it's time again to approach your nearest cinema with renewed caution as Schwarzenegger's in talks to star in a frankly appalling-sounding comedy called Joe's Last Chance. Described as being in the vein of Analyze This, Arnie's set to play a dedicated hit man whose life is inadvertently saved by his proposed victim in a tropical paradise and who, giving his target a stay of execution, decides to take the opportunity of taking a long-overdue vacation. Poor old The Original Kings of Comedy star Cedric the Entertainer will play the stooge to Arnie's hitman. The smell of a slow-roasting turkey is definitely in the air and not because it's Christmas.
