Twin Peaks

In true Twin Peaks style, the return of the show to television has been surrounded in as much mystery as co-creators David Lynch and Mark Frost can generate. With the series due on US cable channel Showtime next year, the latest look comes via a new featurette with both veteran and first-time castmembers including Kyle MacLachlan, Miguel Ferrer, Jim Belushi and Robert Knepper all talking about the gig.

Very little is known about the story, and indeed this quick glimpse limits itself to shots of the misty locations and behind-the-scenes footage of the cast and crew at work. And those interviewed stick to talking about finding out that they'd be venturing back into the cryptic town, or what it was like working with David Lynch and his team. Spoiler alert: sounds like it was good.

Lynch directed every episode of the new run, having written the scripts with Frost. Set 25 years after the original run finished, the story is set to continue in 2017... Just don't expect any easy answers.
