After several years in the comic book arena, Mark Steven Johnson is defecting to the isles of comedy. And he's taking Kristen Bell with him.
The rather lovely star of TV's Veronica Mars and the upcoming Forgetting Sarah Marshall will headline When In Rome, Johnson's next film, which he'll both write and direct. Bell will play a real estate agent who's successful in work, but not in love. When she flies out to Rome for her younger sister's shotgun wedding, she picks coins from a "fountain of love" and returns home to find that now too many men now want her hand in marriage.
That sounds quite chick flicky. Quite a leap from Ghost Rider.
