Following the arrival of two new Kong: Skull Island posters thanks to the twitter feeds of human leads Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson, the new trailer has smashed in, bringing more ape action and a little extra plot. Check it out below.
Launched on Jimmy Kimmel's show in the States, the new footage explores the mission to investigate the mysteries of Skull Island. A team of military men (led by Samuel L. Jackson) are hired by John Goodman's corporate type to find evidence that there are monsters lurking here. Along for the ride? Former SAS officer and tracker Captain James Conrad (Tom Hiddleston) and Brie Larson's photojournalist Weaver.
Of course, none of them are quite prepared for what they find, among them John C. Reilly, who has been surviving on the island for years and knows what's up with Kong (turns out he's more the lonely protector of the place) and the real threats are ome reptilian nasties who are only too happy to snack on our heroes.
This new trailer promises a lot of big creatures and what we're hoping turns out to be a rip-roaring adventure. Oh, and Terry Notary, a man who knows a thing or two about simian performance from the new Planet Of The Apes movies, as the big guy himself.
Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, Kong: Skull Island will get monstrous all over our cinemas from 10 March.
