Here we go again, another film making drip feed announcements for a sprawling cast a person at a time. But when it's the sequel to Knives Out, we don't mind quite as much. And the latest on Rian Johnson's followup to his mystery film is that Edward Norton is joining the ensemble.
Like the film before it, Johnson's latest will see Daniel Craig's drawling detective Benoit Blanc investigating a number of suspects. And, as with that movie, the writer/director is building an impressive group around Craig, with Dave Bautista reported yesterday.
Nothing is known about the exact plot this time out – but we do know that Johnson aims to have the cameras rolling this June in Greece, and clearly his follow-up script is attracting some solid talent. As for Norton, he's back on Wes Anderson duty for The French Dispatch, which has yet to lock down a release date, but will premiere as part of the Cannes Film Festival this year.
