The Klumps Swell US Box Office

Comedy king Eddie Murphy reclaimed his throne this weekend when Nutty Professor II: The Klumps crashed in at the top of the US box office with a towering $42.7 million. This makes the movie the second highest opening for a comedy ever (after Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me) and a career best for Murphy. Picking up where the hugely successful left off, The Klumps sees Murphy taking on six roles: Sherman Klump, Mama, Papa, Ernie and Grandma Klump, as well as Sherman
