Klein Does Mr Chips

Kevin Klein is to do a take on the classic lovable-old-duffer/teacher **Goodbye Mr Chips **with his second directorial stint, The Palace Thief, for Fine Line Pictures. He hasn't decided whether or not he'll star in the pic too, which will be his first 'proper feature' after popping his helmer cherry on a production of Hamlet for US TV. The story follows a prep school teacher looking back on his half century career, but unlike Mr Chips, his memoir is full of regret.
