Well, she may have been the squeaky clean Mary Jane in Spiderman, but the seemingly angelic Kirsten Dunst is ditching her girl next door image for good and enroling in the oldest profession in the world: prostitution. In news that should make male hormones around the world veritably leap with glee, the buxom lass will play a nineteenth-century hooker in an adaptation of Michele Faber's bestselling novel, The Crimson Petal and the White. Revolving around an alluring nineteen-year-old whore called Sugar in 1870s London, the ambitious tale reaches depths Dickens certainly never dared show us and traces the clever girl's startling ascent into the higher strata of Victorian society when she lands herself a powerful sugar daddy. Dunst's descent into moral turpitude should, however, only confirm her rising star. Her transformation into a lady of the night will be overseen by Spiderman producer Laura Ziskin, whose sure touch in Pretty Woman catapulted another hooker going by the name of Ms Roberts to stardom overnight.
