Nanny McPhee director Kirk Jones has signed up to write and direct Everybody’s Fine, a remake of Italy’s 1990 road trip drama Stanno Tutti Bene.
Jones is adapting the film, which follows a widower who realises his wife was his only connection to his children. He goes on a wandering bus trip to reconnect with his grown sprogs.
"This is a story with enormous heart that will translate perfectly to modern-day America with the humour and emotion of the original picture still intact," the director told Variety.
