It's been rumoured for some time, but Baz Luhrman's untitled Australian epic, starring Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman, finally has a start date.
The story is billed as an Aussie Gone with the Wind, a romance set in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia at the time of World War II, where Luhrman is creating his sets from scratch.
There's no more word yet on the plot or characters that the two stars are playing, but we do know that Stuart "Collateral" Beattie wrote the script, and that rehearsals will start in May for a July or August start date.
