Nicole Kidman is taking aim at a little spy action.
Clearly not content with watching former hubby Tom Cruise drive the fast cars and shoot the sexy guns, she’s muscling in with an untitled spy drama.
Written by Mr & Mrs Smith writer Simon Kinberg, the plot is being kept under the usual heavy wraps, though sources say it’s The Bourne Identity with a female lead. Kinberg and Kidman had planned to work together on Smith, but she had to drop out because of a schedule clash. It’ll be interesting to see whether she tries to out-action-babe Angelina Jolie.
Before she goes all spy on us, Kidman will tackle invading aliens alongside Daniel "Bond, James Bond” Craig (wonder if she’ll phone him up for tips) in The Visiting. And Kinberg’s clearly given up sleeping – he’s working on this script, the Smith TV show and suicide drama plot Jumper. Busy man…
