Kevin Spacey Finds A Shrink

Kevin Spacey had a hit earlier this year with 21, and it looks like he's planning to make his next break from the Old Vic an indie drama, this time surrounded by a whole heap of celebrity cameos, in Shrink.

The plot sees Spacey play a psychiatrist to the stars, who's dealing with a recent personal tragedy of his own. Unable to come to grips with his own problems, he's smoking pot, careless about his appearance and losing faith in his ability to help anyone.

His patients are played by Robin Williams, Saffron Burrows, Gore Vidal, Griffin Dunne, Jack Huston, Robert Loggia, Pell James, Keke Palmer, Laura Ramsey, Dallas Roberts and Mark Webber.

The script's by relative newcomer Thomas Moffett, who wrote the upcoming **Frost **starring, er, Jason Behr, and it's all set to be directed by Jonas Pate, who's most recently been working in TV on shows including Bionic Woman, Friday Night Lights and Battlestar Galactica. Production's just getting underway in LA, so keep an eye out sometime next year, for a film that sounds like The Wackness without the teen stars.
