Kevin Kline Off To Last Vegas

Though the roster of leading men was almost complete on older-bloke-bachelor-party comedy Last Vegas, there remained one slot to be filled besides Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Michael Douglas. Consider it locked up, as Kevin Kline will also head to the gambling city.

Dan Fogelman wrote the script, which finds fogeyish friends heading to Sin City to celebrate the bachelor party of the last of their number to get hitched (Douglas). But amidst the boozing and partying, old rivalries and wounds get reopened, especially between Douglas and De Niro.

Deadline doesn’t specify exactly what Kline will be doing in the film besides being part of the core group, but we’re hoping he’s able to let loose and go toe-to-toe with the other actors.

John Turteltaub will be getting them all to Vegas ready for a shoot set for this autumn.

Kline, who last appeared in rom-com No Strings Attached and drama Darling Companion, is also on for a role in Charlie Kaufman’s Frank Or Francis, though that one is still trying to lock down a start date.
