He might have headed back to a regular TV gig across the pond, but Kevin James is still making the odd movie. Here's the trailer for his latest, Netflix production True Memoirs Of An International Assassin.

James here plays Sam Larson, a workaday author who channels his life's frustrations through the main character in his book, a smooth, talented and lethal hitman. But when the tome hits shelves, and is a huge success, he's shocked to learn that his publisher changed it to sound like a real memoir of a globe-trotting hero.

In a case of mistaken identity, Sam is then kidnapped and embroiled in an assassination plot, which means he'll either have to step up and save himself (maybe he could watch the Paul Blart movies to get inspiration for a regular joe forced to act when danger lurks?) or he'll need some help. As the trailer suggests, it's option number B.

With Jeff Wadlow directing this one, True Memoirs also features Andy Garcia, Kim Coates, Zulay Henao and Kelen Coleman. It'll hit Netflix on 11 November.
