Given Kevin Hart's popularity and the rising star power of Tiffany Haddish, it makes sense for them to star together in a comedy. They've joined laugh-grabbing forces for Night School, which has a new trailer out.

With Girls Trip director Malcolm D. Lee behind the camera, Hart plays a superstar grill salesman who sees his life literally blow up in his face. Relegated to dressing up as a chicken to sell fast food, he yearns for more from life, and decides to get his GED certificate so he can aspire higher.

He enrolls in a night school class taught by Kerry (Haddish), a woman with her own issues. Can she actually help him learn something? And will the class of misfits pass the course?

Mary Lynn Rajskub, Rob Riggle, Ben Schwartz and Taran Killam are also in the cast for the film, which looks to school cinemas on 28 September.
