Kevin Hart's certainly not seeming to let the criticism over his Oscar hosting and the attendant issues from his past stop his film career moving forward. Days after signing on to a Monopoly movie, Hart has also locked in a role in Paul Weitz' latest film, Fatherhood.

Weitz is adapting Matt Logelin's book Two Kisses For Maddy: A Memoir Of Loss & Love, the tear-jerking true tale of Matt and Liz, high school sweethearts who marry and move to LA. They're delighted to learn that she's pregnant, only for tragedy to strike moments after the baby, Madeline is born. Before she can even hold her daughter, Liz dies from a pulmonary embolism, leaving Matt to become sole caretaker for the baby, his link to his beloved late wife.

Hart, who will also produce the film, is now intending to shoot this after he finishes work on the Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle sequel that will be his next job.
