It feels like we've been waiting a long time to hear anything new about Martin McDonagh's next film, The Banshees Of Inisherin, ever since we learned (in February last year!) that he was reuniting the In Bruges duo of Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell. With the movie finally gearing up to shoot in Ireland this month, McDonagh has added another previous collaborator, as Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri's Kerry Condon is now aboard.

Banshees will follow the story of a pair of lifelong friends (Gleeson and Farrell) on a remote Irish island who find themselves at an awkward time in their relationship when one of them no longer wants to be friends. Condon will play Farrell's sister, while Barry Keoghan is also in the cast.

Condon has other previous McDonagh experience – she's won awards appearing in his stage productions including The Lieutenant Of Inishmore and The Cripple Of Inishmaan, and suffice to say we're excited to see what McDonagh's latest cinematic endeavour brings.
