If you've been wondering what Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest of the Muppet gang might be bringing to the Disney+ streaming service, their initial involvement was finally confirmed at this weekend's D23 Expo. The felt friends are working on a new unscripted short series of shows called Muppets Now.
While none of the fuzzy stars were present in Anaheim, California to launch the show, Kermit was the focus of a brief teaser video, which saw him trying to offer details of the show, only to be shut down by a legal weasel named Joe.
"You are not authorized to offer a peak, sneak or otherwise," said the stubborn weasel in the clip. "I know how you frogs are, you’re always looking to leap into the next big thing." Kermit also tweeted out as much as he's allowed.
No details were naturally revealed as to when the show will hit Disney+, but we can expect it to be ready for next year.
