Keanu Reeves Joins Generation Um...

When he’s not busy being an Internet meme or waiting for big projects like** 47 Ronin** and Cowboy Bebop to finish swimming through the development channels, Keanu Reeves is filling his time with parts in largely indie movies. And he’s joined the cast of another, locking down a leading role in **Generation Um…

Reeves is now starring with Bojana Novakovic (last seen in Edge of Darkness and Drag Me to Hell) and Adelaide Clemens (who had a small role in** X-Men Origins: Wolverine** and will be part of the Mad Max: Fury Road cast whenever George Miller starts shooting) in a film that chronicles the three as they drift through a fringe life in New York.

Their days are filled with sex, drugs, and, as the title suggestions, a lot of indecision. But in the midst of their usual bar hopping and party crashing, they all start to find some measure of self-discovery. Apparently.

Mark L Mann wrote the script and is directing the movie, with filming already underway in New York. Reeves, meanwhile, has prison drama Henry’s Crime showing at the Toronto Film Festival and plans to shoot Gabriele Muccino’s sci-fi adventure Passengers next.
