Kathy Bates and Whoopi Goldberg have signed on as the latest castmembers for the romantic comedy/drama Earthbound.
The film already stars Kate Hudson and Gael Garcia Bernal, with Rosemarie DeWitt, Lucy Punch, Romany Malco, Steven Weber and Treat Williams also in the cast.
Earthbound's plot sees a guarded young woman (Hudson) who is diagnosed with cancer. But when she falls for her doctor, and he proves to be her perfect match, she's not sure what is scarier: the threat of death or her fear of falling in love.
Here's a hint, love: it's death. Unless the person you're falling in love with is David Hasselhoff.
