Katee Sackhoff Starring In Another Life

While spending years as Battlestar Galactica's Starbuck might have been enough on-screen space travel for anyone, Katee Sackhoff is ready to hit the launchpad again. She's won the lead role in a new Netflix sci-fi series called Another Life.

Aaron Martin created the new show, which has been handed a 10-episode first season order by the streaming service. Another Life finds Sackhoff as Niko Breckenridge, an astronaut who leads a crew focused on searching for alien intelligence. When they investigate a newly-discovered artifact in space, they face a terrible danger and the chance that this might be a one-way trip...

Sackhoff has spent the last few years on the more grounded drama series Longmire, which was saved by Netflix after its cancellation by US cable channel A&E. She also recently popped up on TV's The Flash and is part of the cast for sci-fi pic 2036 Origin Unknown.
