Clearly, Riddick’s Katee Sackhoff had a good time working with Mike Flanagan on horror pic Oculus, which is featured in the Midnight Madness section of this year’s Toronto Film Festival. The pair has used the movie’s premiere to announce that they’re teaming back up again for **Somnia.

No, it’s not an ill-judged prequel to Christopher Nolan’s 2002 thriller. This is another horror tale, this time described as “a haunting, emotionally absorbing" tale of an orphan whose dreams and nightmares start appearing physically whenever he drops off. Wasn't that an episode of Buffy?

Obviously, childhood nightmares are not something you want wandering around your noggin, let alone in the real world, so we hope Sackhoff is ready to deal with that. Flanagan is set to have the cameras rolling and the screams echoing later this year.

Sackhoff is on our screen’s now as Dahl in Riddick and is also loosely attached to the female take on The Expendables, which, as she told us in the interview below, is taking a great deal of schedule juggling to work out. There are also some exciting rumours that she's planning something with Marvel, so more word on that as it emerges...
