Kate Walsh, currently to be seen causing romantic problems in TV medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, has agreed to join John Cusack in Dimension’s adaptation of Stephen King’s short story 1408.
About to start shooting here in the UK, the story follows a professional sceptic hired to debunk supposedly paranormal situations who gets more than he bargained for when he stays in the titular room and discovers true terror. Walsh will appear as his former wife.
Derailed’s Mikael Hafstrom is preparing to call the shots from Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski’s script and Samuel L Jackson will also crop up, provided he’s not too busy fighting those snakes on a plane.
