With Scarlett Johansson already attached to star, the new raunchy comedy currently known as Rock That Body is adding to its quotient of funny, talented women. Now Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell and Ilana Glazer are all aboard.
The film, which previously went by the name Move That Body (which we suppose sounded too much like a workout video), follows five friends who rent a beach house in Miami for a bachelorette weekend that builds to an insane crescendo.
Sony has Paul W. Downs and Lucia Aniello, collaborators with Glazer on US sitcom Broad City, writing the script. In addition to their work on the screenplay, Downs will appear in the film and Aniello will direct. Zoe Kravitz is also part of the cast, and the cameras should be rolling this August.
Johansson is back as Black Widow in Captain America: Civil War, which is already out in the UK and hits the States this week. She's currently at work on the live-action adaptation of Ghost In The Shell. SNL performer McKinnon is one of the leads in Ghostbusters, due July 15, and recently joined the cast of Women In Business, which is set to feature Bell. They're also both voices in The Angry Birds Movie, arriving on May 13.
