Between the likes of the Guardians Of The Galaxy films and Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, Karen Gillan has been getting into action and adventure in a big way. She's now on to tackle a tale of assassins with new pic Gunpowder Milkshake.
While it sounds a little like the movie's title was chosen after a round of Madlibs, it'll actually follow the story of hired killers, following multiple generations with Gillan as the cornerstone of the plot, a nice change for her to nab a full leading role.
Big Bad Wolves directors Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado are preparing to call the shots, having written the script with Ehud Lavski, and are citing the likes of Baby Driver and Kill Bill as inspirations.
Gillan has a busy schedule at the moment, with the next Jumanji film due to shoot in February, and Gunpowder Milkshake is aiming to film after that in Berlin. The actress will return to the MCU for Avengers: Endgame (here's Everything You Need To Know), finally due on 26 April and has a voice role in Spies In Disguise, arriving 9 August.
