Justin Theroux Joins Your Highness

Justin Theroux has donned wizardly robes and knobby staff* to join the really rather promising cast of Your Highness, the medieval comedy from Pineapple Express director David Gordon Green. Theroux will play evil wizard Leezar, because every medieval adventure requires a bad guy who can do magic.

The film focuses on two brothers, a heroic heir to the throne (James Franco) and his layabout younger sibling (Danny McBride). When the elder's fiancee (Zooey Deschanel) is kidnapped by Leezar, the pair have to work together to save her - and their entire kingdom.

The film, which also stars Natalie Portman and Charles Dance, is currently shooting in Northern Ireland. It was written by McBride along with his **The Foot-Fist Way **collaborator Ben Best, which gives him something in common with Theroux who also moonlights as a screenwriter for films like Tropic Thunder (oooh, and McBride starred in that! It's such a beautiful circle of life) and Iron Man 2.

Expect to see the demented results of **Your Highness **sometime next October.

*And as we all know, a wizard's staff has a knob on the end.
