Justin Lin had a pretty full dance card already, but it just got a little fuller with news coming from The Hollywood Reporter that he’ll be producing a new 20th Century Fox property called Toymageddon.
The live-action movie is being billed as a family adventure with “four quadrant appeal” – good news for quadrant fans – and will take place in a toy factory. Plot details are under wraps but with Jurassic Park and **Ghostbusters **cited as reference points, it’s safe to expect that the toys will find a way to cause maximum chaos.Maybe something along the lines of Small Soldiers is in store.
The former Fast Five and 6er is directing the so-far untitled **Bourne Legacy 2, a project that remains at the script stage, and may take on a narrative version of Sundance-acquired documentary The Battered Bastards Of Baseball. [There’s also a Bruce Lee-inspired TV show bubbling under at his production company Perfect Storm](http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=38084ID=38084).
This project is the brainchild of Tariq Merhab, who will produce alongside fellow Anonymous Content’s Michael Sugar and Bard Dorros and Perfect Storm’s Troy Craig Poon. A screenwriter should be recruited soon and according to The Hollywood Reporter, Lin may yet take on directing duties, depending on the outcome of that process.
