You hardly need reminding, but for those new to the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), pictured here are Ben Affleck as Batman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Notable by their absence? Jason Momoa's Aquaman (perhaps busy taking a dip somewhere) and Henry Cavill's Superman (last seen six feet under in last year's Batman v Superman).
Director Zack Snyder does address the Kryptonian elephant in the room. "Superman does play a big part in this movie," he tells us, cryptically. "His presence, and lack of presence, are big story points..."
