After days of teaser videos, hints, photos and viral comedy, the first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has arrived. See the first full footage from the sequel to 2016's dino-hit below.
With the activity this week, we've also gotten some clues about what the film, which returns stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, actually has as its story. Set a while after the events of World, Fallen Kingdom finds Howard's Claire tracking down Pratt's Owen to persuade him to return to Isla Nublar. The reason? A heretofore undisturbed volcano is about to belch lava-shaped doom upon the island, and she needs his assistance in rescuing the various dinosaurs from a second extinction.
We can expect some new species of dino, the presence of franchise veterans BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum and new blood via Justice Smith, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Ted Levine, James Cromwell and more.
A Monster Calls' JA Bayona is calling the shots, with World director Colin Trevorrow stepping back to produce and write the script with regular collaborator Derek Connolly. Expect people to start running from toothy beasts on 7 June next year.
