From the looks of things, Jurassic World 3 isn’t far off from shooting. Sam Neill is tweeting about it, Colin Trevorrow keeps showing off an adorable baby triceratops animatronic, and Chris Pratt has been hyping up the return of the original Jurassic Park lot on talk shows. And by the sounds of it, that could involve more than just the announced trio of Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern. We might also be seeing the return of Tim Murphy, aka ‘Big Tim, The Human Piece Of Toast’ – the dino-obsessed kid who was dealt a lifetime of PTSD when visiting the unopened park with his sister Lex in the first Jurassic movie.

File this under ‘rumour’ for now, but a telling Tweet from actor Joe Mazzello strongly hinted at Tim’s return in the final Jurassic World movie: “I think it’s time to get back to work. What do you say gang?”

That certainly chimes with what Pratt said on Ellen last week: “It’s got everybody,” he said. “It feels kind of like Endgame. It’s got pretty much everybody in it. Maybe I just blew it, but I don’t care. I know that all the cast from the original Jurassic Park is coming back, and it’s going to feel very much like how Endgame brought everything together with Marvel.” He also mentioned that the next day he would be heading off for the lengthy shoot.

Who else could we see returning? Ariana Richards, the actor who played Lex, hasn’t updated her Instagram for a few months, so no hints there yet. Otherwise, Samuel L. Jackson’s Ray Arnold carked it, as did Muldoon, Nedry and the cowardly Gennaro. And sadly, it turned out the Brachiosaur seen wreathed in smoke in the volcano eruption of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was that OG dino from the first Park, so no big comeback there.

As for new arrivals, last week saw the announcement that Dichen Lachman had joined the cast. Keep an eye online for other teased returns as Jurassic World 3 prepares for an imminent shoot.
