With Daniel Radcliffe set to star and Max Minghella already circling another crucial role in the film, Alexandre Aja’s adaptation of Joe Hill’s Horns is coming on apace. The latest news to emerge from the Toronto Film Festival is that Juno Temple, Joe Anderson and Kelli Garner are all in talks to join up.

Red Granite Pictures, which is backing the film, made the announcement on Friday, which was then picked up by The Wrap.

With a script by Ken Bunin, Horns will see Radcliffe as the depressed, dark Ig Perrish who is still trying to reclaim his life after his girlfriend Merrin (Temple) is brutally murdered and he becomes the prime suspect. Then, one morning after a drunken bender, Ig wakes up with red horns sprouting from his forehead that have the power to make everyone he meets confess their innermost desires and sins.

There’s no word on which characters Anderson or Garner might play yet, assuming they lock in deals.

Aja is set to kick off shooting this autumn. Temple was last seen in The Dark Knight Rises and will also appear in Jack And Diane. Anderson was part of The Grey and has a role in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Garner last appeared in The Lie and Going The Distance.
