Julia Roberts in Conspiracy Premiere Ankle Drama

The stars were out in force on Monday night for the Los Angeles premiere of the new Mel Gibson/Julia Roberts film Conspiracy Theory. Such luminaries as Jodie Foster, James Coburn, Steven Seagal, Patrick Swayze and Ashley Judd were there to wave to the crowds, but for leading lady Julie Roberts the evening was less then celebratory. She injured her ankle in the crush of fans outside the cinema, and was forced to miss the after-show party at Jerry's Deli in West Hollywood. The popular actress, back on top with My Best Friend's Wedding, will hopefully recover in time for her trip to Borneo, where she is scheduled to host a documentary about orang-utans.
