You can practically hear the dinner bell clanging away for the terrible lizards of Jurassic World, because three new cast members have joined the new dino film. The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Judy Greer, Katie McGrath and Lauren Lapkus are all signing on{
The new trio’s roles are being withheld for now, but they’re joining Bryce Dallas Howard (playing a corporate scientist), Chris Pratt (an adventuresome dino-wrangler), Jake Johnson (a tech type), B.D. Wong (reprising his original **Jurassic Park **role of Dr. Henry Wu) along with business types Irrfan Khan and Vincent D’Onofrio and youngsters Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson.
With Safety Not Guaranteed’s Colin Trevorrow working from the script he re-wrote with Derek Connolly,** Jurassic World** is set years after the events in the original film and will reportedly see reptilian chaos unleashed upon a functioning resort. It’ll hit out screens on June 12 next year.
Greer was last seen in Carrie and is playing Cornelia in Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, due out July 17. She’s also shot Tomorrowland, Men, Women & Children and is one of the voices for Pixar’s delayed The Good Dinosaur. McGrath was Merlin’s Morgana and Lucy Westenra on the recent US Dracula series. Lapkus is part of the cast for Orange Is The New Black, and had a role in The To Do List. She’ll next crop up in Adam Sandler comedy Blended, which arrives on May 23.
