Marvel had a lot of news to share about Ant-Man sequel Ant-Man And The Wasp at Comic-Con, but one nugget left out was the return of Judy Greer's Maggie Lang. She will most definitely be back for the new movie.
We're hoping (possibly against hope, since Greer seems to snag smaller storylines in a variety of big movies such as Jurassic World and Apes series) that Maggie, Scott Lang's (Paul Rudd) ex-wife and mother to their daughter Cassie, will have more to do this time. Could they not find room to give her superpowers? We'd watch Judy Greer battle bad guys with heat ray eyes any day of the week.
While the plot of Peyton Reed's new film is largely a secret, we do know that Evangeline Lilly's Hope van Dyne will suit up as Wasp and that we'll properly meet her mother, Janet (to be played by Michelle Pfeiffer). Michael Pena and Michael Douglas as back and other new arrivals include Laurence Fishburne, Walton Goggins and Randall Park.
Ant-Man And The Wasp will be out on 29 June next year.
