With Jason Statham already aboard, it would appear that Paul Feig and Melissa McCarthy are going very British in their casting choices for spy caper** Susan Cooper**. Jude Law is the latest actor to sign on.

Plot details are being largely kept secret for the film, which seems fitting given that it details the adventures of McCarthy’s unlikely spy. The film will find the actress reuniting with her Bridesmaids and **The Heat **director for a new comedy outing.

What will Statham or Law be up to? That’s anyone’s guess, and without a solid plotline it’s hard to even speculate. Still, we’ll try anyway… Could Statham be spoofing his usual tough guy hero image as the villain? Will Law be a goody two shoes, or will he instead be a charming bad guy? We’ll find out soon enough.

Last seen as the louche Dom Hemingway and onstage in London as Henry V, Law will next be part of the sprawling cast of Wes Anderson’s** The Grand Budapest Hotel**, which hits cinemas today. He’s also just finished work on submarine thriller Black Sea.
