Judd Apatow’s really getting into comedies revolving around kid issues. He’s currently finishing up pregnancy comedy Knocked Up and has bought a script called The Middle Child from Accepted star Jonah Hill.
Universal’s on board to make the film, which Hill will star in as a teenager who discovers that his parents gave an earlier child up for adoption before he was born. When the son returns, Hill’s character becomes an outcast in his own family. It’s apparently based on his own life experience, though without the outcast bit (we hope). “"My younger sister wasn't born until I was 10," Hill told The Hollywood Reporter. "It was an interesting, life-changing event. I found a lot of humour in it, with the focus going from me to my younger sister and my older brother."
