Paddy Considine has spent the last 20 or so years establishing himself as one of Britain’s best and most beloved actors, and in 2011 he proved he was a dab hand behind the camera too with his directorial debut Tyrannosaur. Now he’s back with Journeyman, an emotionally bruising drama about a boxer’s road to recovery from a traumatic brain injury.

As well as writing and directing Considine takes the lead role of Matty Burton, a middleweight boxer who collapses at home after defending his championship title in the ring. Facing the loss of his speech, motor and memory functions, Matty is left fighting for rehabilitation, a reason to live, and a way to keep his family — Jodie Whittaker as his wife Emma, and their daughter Mia — together. The latest poster dials in on Matty’s mental battle, and we have it right here.
