There has been talk for years that Triplets, the sequel to 1988 comedy Twins will actually happen. But while the wait for that one continues, a new comedy is in the works that will channel the original to some degree. Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage are in talks to star in Brothers.
Etan Cohen, who scripted Tropic Thunder and most recently wrote and directed Holmes & Watson is apparently still legally permitted to make movies after the latter, and will work on the script.
As for the story? No one is saying anything, but it'll find Brolin and Dinklage as unlikely siblings, and Legendary Entertainment has swooped in to buy the idea after a bidding war for the rights to make it. From the sound of it, this one will see cameras before Triplets ever has a chance to do so.
Brolin will be back as Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, due here on 25 April. Dinklage is returning for the final season of Game Of Thrones, which finally arrives on 14 April. It's also put out a few posters to remind us...
