We may still be waiting for that long-promised Twins follow-up, Triplets, but actor/writer/director Macon Blair is working on something that Variety has heard is in the vein of that original 1988 comedy. He's written and will make a film called Brothers, with Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage in the lead roles.

Beyond the fact that they'll be siblings, not much else is known about the movie, which Legendary Entertainment is producing. The references to Twins make us think this is a comedy, but we'll have to wait and see what kind of spin Blair puts on it.

Having written several film he's appeared (particularly with director Jeremy Saulnier), Blair made the leap to calling the shots with Netflix's I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore. And he's also in line to make a reboot of The Toxic Avenger, which Legendary has the rights to work on.
