The first trailer for Todd Philips' long-developing based-on-reality comedy drama War Dogs arrived back in March. Here comes the second, which still finds Jonah Hill and Miles Teller as unlikely – but successful – gun-runners.

Drawn from Guy Lawson's Rolling Stone article about the real people in question), War Dogs follows David Packouz (Teller) and Efraim Diveroli (Hill), two stoner friends in their early 20s living in Miami during the first Iraq War who exploit a little-known government initiative that allows small businesses to bid on U.S. Military contracts. Starting small, they begin raking in big money and are living the high life. But the pair gets in over their heads when they land a $300 million deal to arm the Afghan Military, a deal that puts them in business with some very shady people, not the least of which turns out to be the U.S. Government...

The tale of two bros who make it rich by living dangerously doesn't smack of immediate appeal, but let's see how Philips treats them. The likes of Shaun Taub, Ana de Armas and even some young upstart named Bradley... Cooper, is it? who Philips might just have worked with before help make up the cast for this one. War Dogs is due in the UK on August 26.
